## One thing worth doing before we talk

Jot down three ordinary days of eating between now and the call. Not careful days. Ordinary ones, including whatever you ate standing at the counter.

Times matter more than portions, and a word or two about how you felt an hour later matters most of all. It takes thirty seconds a meal and it will make our twenty minutes considerably more useful, because I will be reading a real week instead of a summary.
